Eric Stange
Producer/Director
Eric Stange is an independent documentary director and producer of films about issues of social justice, health and equity, social activism and political and cultural history. Broadcast venues for his films include PBS, the BBC, and The Discovery Channel. Among his recent films EDGAR ALLAN POE: BURIED ALIVE for American Masters (PBS); ACTIVIZED – a profile of first-time pollical activists; THE WALL and AFTER THE WALL– a two-part series about modern Germany; and MURDER AT HARVARD, a historical who-dunnit. Rachel Clark
Editor
Rachel Clark is a documentary video editor currently residing in Boston. Born in Scotland and raised in England, she has been editing for the past twenty years, both in London, UK and Boston, MA. Past clients include the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, the BBC, Errol Morris, PBS, the National Geographic Channel, and Cinemax. Her work has received multiple Emmy-nominations. She edited the documentary Family Affair (OWN), premiering in competition at Sundance, HBO’s Have You Seen Andy, and The Amish: Shunned for PBS’s American Experience. More recently, she cut East of Salinas for the PBS documentary series Independent Lens, Eat Up, which won the ‘2019 Award for Excellence in Documentary Editing’ at IFF Boston, and audience award winning Girl Talk, which is currently making its way on the festival circuit.
Heather Merrill
Archival Researcher
Heather has worked in archival research for more than 15 years. Her production credits include work on the PBS series American Experience, American Masters, and NOVA, programs for HBO, Discovery, Showtime, and the WORLD Channel, and numerous independent documentary films She has also conducted research for publications, recently for books on O. Henry, Theodore Roosevelt, and the immigration laws of the 1920s. Some of her favorite topics have included women wrestlers, the roots of the modern Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and disaster studies.
John Kusiak
Composer
John Kusiak composes music for film, television and live performance. He has scored hundreds of projects, including feature films: Tabloid, Secrecy and The Fog of War (additional music), television documentaries for HBO, PBS and IFC, and large-screen exhibitions (Yellowstone National Park and the Smithsonian). His score for Errol Morris’ “Tabloid” won the 2012 Cinema Eye Honors Award for Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Score.
Other projects have included music for the opening film of two Academy Awards programs (2002 and 2007) and two seasons of First Person, a television series directed by Errol Morris and chosen by Time as one of the 10 best series of 2000. He has scored commercials for United Airlines, Quaker Oats and MasterCard, among others. John also writes music for live performance, including collaborations with Boston-based Prometheus Dance, whose Apokalypsis (2000-present) was selected by The Boston Globe as one of the 10 best dance performances of 2000.

Producer/Distribution Strategist
Marga Varea is the founder of Twin Seas Media, a Boston-based boutique agency dedicated to providing multi-platform, impact distribution for independent documentary films and to help filmmakers connect with audiences through creative strategies that are transparent, fresh and collaborative. With over twenty years of experience in film and television, Marga has worked with dozens of filmmakers in a variety of positions, from consulting producer to impact producer and distribution strategist. She has designed and implemented many exciting film campaigns and consulted for a variety of film festivals internationally.
